Almost every reference to the tucked away little village of McGregor extols its health benefits, tranquility, clear skies, wine estates and special energy. A couple of days spent in this gorgeous spot IS as good as it gets to gently ease body, mind and spirit and revive flagging energies. Its great - hence the name - and now you can get it all as well! Allow yourself to let go…unwind and let the magic of McGregor do the rest.
The G Spot guest cottage is ideal for couples. It is on the main 1000sq m property but is a separate building, sharing an L- shaped creeper covered patio and a shady garden with the main dwelling. It has private nooks for reading or resting and an inviting salt-water swimming pool for when temperatures rise. The bathroom is not exactly designer luxury, but it works perfectly and there is a private outdoor shower with hot water if you are a nature lover. A wood-burning Dover stove makes an otherwise beautifully cool cottage into a cosy nest in winter. The open-plan kitchen area is very well equipped for self-catering.
If you are into DSTV and cannot be a few days without it, think again… though you are most welcome to join us in the main house for the important stuff on the box like rugby.
Fresh linen, fluffy towels and a Weber braai are all part of the deal, as is our warm hospitality and utmost respect for your privacy, comfort and enjoyment in a home away from home. Oh, and we are pet friendly providing your pets are friendly too and not into chewing, hunting or garden landscaping! Please provide your own pet bedding.
