you can basically go all the way to the sea from the bridge, friends of mine have done it, takes much longer than anticipated. Nice stretch is to go from the bridge out side Robertson to the bridge in Swellendam, forms part of the Breede river canoe marathon.

So ye, just jump in and enjoy - I take it you where talking about the Breederiver?
