NEED A BREAK? ESCAPE to our lovely thatched cottages, lovingly restored and individually furnished, on six acres of orchards and vegetable gardens - all less than two hours' drive from Cape Town.

Each of the seven cottages has its own cozy fireplace and/or wood-burning stove. They are fully equipped for catering and braaing, with bed-linen provided (bring own towels if possible). Ideal for a romantic hide-away - and if you decide to visit us again, your children and pets will be welcome too!

Image We also have a swimming pool as well as a lounge with DSTV, and are within easy walking distance of all that the village has to offer.

Tours, Seminars and Groups of FriendsImage
We also cater for tours/groups/seminars of ten or more people. We also cater for occasional group meals, by arrangement. The buitekombuis at the main cottage is the gathering place for meals and the like. The dining is informal - a big country kitchen (and pub) with a wood stove, where most of the cooking is done for you to view, seating at old oregon pine tables and self-service from the stove or dresser.

For bookings, call your hosts, Barry and Margie Philip on (023) 625 1816, or fax (023) 625 1840, or click here to enquire about accommodation. (Please note: we will make every effort to give you your preferred cottage, but this is subject to its being available at the time you require.)
