Retreat Centre
Set in the heart of the village of McGregor, is the well loved Temenos Retreat Centre.
What once began as a small contemplative garden has now flourished into a renowned Retreat visited over and over again by local and overseas visitors.
Choose from Traditional Cape Cottages set in orchards of lavender and olive trees or Cape Georgian suites attached to our quiet garden library.
In the garden itself you will find many secluded corners and private spaces ideal for gentle reflection or quiet contemplation. There is also a meditation room which visitors are welcome to make use of. Should you enjoy the art of meditation, we have two daily silent meditation sittings at 9am and 6pm.
Tebaldi's Restaurant
Our restaurant specializes in fresh country cuisine – and is open daily except Mondays for delicious breakfasts and lunches. We are also open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night when our chefs will present you with our seasonal menu.
Weddings
Temenos is very popular as a wedding venue. Our emphasis is on creating heartfelt ceremonies that express the individuality of the couple getting married. Celebrations can take place in our beautiful chapel surrounded by red roses, in The Well with its Camelot of candlelight, or under the trees in our garden spiral.
Caritas Conference Centre
Our conference venue is relaxed and informal offering, the facilitator and groups an experience quite different from the run of the mill conference centre. Our coordinator will assist you in ensuring that your workshop or conference runs smoothly and expresses your unique needs.
