Annual Payment discount
Parents who wish to settle their school fees account annually will receive a discount of 5% provided that the account is settled in full before the end of February of the year for which the fees are due.
Family Discount
For parents with more than one child at the school, a family reduction scheme is available as follows: (the eldest child is always the first child. First child 2nd child 3th & subsequent children Rate = % of full fee 100% 80% 60%
Reduction due to financial circumstances
Parents who are unable to pay full fees should request a Fee Reduction Application Form from the Secretary. Requests for a reduction in fees will be considered upon receipt of the completed form together with proof of income. Unless a formal application is made for a fee reduction, parents will be charged full fees.
Payment Periods
Fees are calculated for the year. For ease of payment, the year’s fees are divided into ten equal monthly instalments that are due for payment on the first of each month. Thus the instalment due for January is not directly related to the schooling received by your child/ren that month, but is simply the first instalment due for the year.
New Pupils
Parents of newly enrolled pupils will be asked to pay the registration fee and the first month’s fee instalment in advance upon acceptance of a place at the school.
Statements
All parents will be required to sign a fee agreement indicating the amount of fees due each month/per annum. Parents have ten days grace each month in which to pay their fees, or ten days after the start of a new term.
Parents will be sent a statement at the beginning of each term detailing instalments due, as well as payments made by parents during the preceding months.
NB No invoices for fees will be sent and parents should not wait for the receipt of a statement before making their statements each month.
Late Payment Penalty
Prompt payment is essential for the smooth running of the school’s finances and chasing-up late fees takes up valuable time and resources. Fees not paid by the 10th of the month will attract a penalty of 5%.
Arrears and Financial Difficulties
Parents experiencing making their agreed fee payments should inform the Secretary immediately and write a letter explaining the nature and extent of their difficulties to the Bursar.
The school’s policy is that parents whose fees are more than three months in arrears will be asked to remove their children from the school unless they have made a formal arrangement with the Bursar to extend the payment period.
The school will endeavour at all times to be sympathetic to parents’ financial circumstances, whilst ensuring that parents make a reasonable and fair contribution to the school’s expenses through fee payments. Parents who get into serious arrears with their fee payments without providing a satisfactory explanation and/or making a formal arrangement with the Management Committee will be asked to remove their child/ren from the school and/or will be handed over to our attorneys for collection.
